Bought a 2020 Ram 2500 6.7 turbo diesel cummins.
Had bad luck the first week.
The injector pump failed. Had to be towed to Ram dealership. Bosch cp4 is a faulty pump with a bad history. Bums me out

The good thing is, you will be getting the CP ISB 21 recall pump in place of the CP4. In the past failed CP4 were replaced with another CP4. Good things are on the horizon for you. Enjoy your repaired truck, many trouble free miles ahead!

Distinction without a difference? Until someone posts the actual difference between the pumps I'm unconvinced this change in nomenclature is for anything beyond legal CYA.

Good news is youre covered, OP.

These are great trucks.. sorry for your troubles, but you'll get fixed up soon enough.

It does appear to have a bigger flange where it goes in to the timing case
