Did searches but no joy. Every time I wash the truck or after a heavy rain, the water drips from the rear of the driver side front fender for hours if not days. Obviously water is colllecting and slowly allowing it to drain. Last year, I found the cabin filter soaked (after not getting any air through the dash registers) but could not locate the source. Replaced the filter and have not had the soaked filter problem since. No water is making it to the interior floor. At the time, I removed the cowl trim and checked the drains at each end. Both were open and free of debris. The water dripping issue continues. Yesterday morning I washed the truck, and this morning water is still dripping behind the left front wheel. Water is collecting somewhere. Any ideas?

Thanks for the link. I did check the drains and they were clear. However the cowl is probably the source of the water. Will remove the cowl trim again and have a look with a bore scope. There is probably some sealant missing somewhere. If all else fails I will spray the bottom of the cowl with sealant. Appreciate the response. C

Had a hard rain over night. Moved the truck in a left turn and heard a lot of water sloshing to the right. Some water ended up on the passenger side floor and the cabin filter was soaked. Water (a lot of it) is collecting in the cowl after a heavy rain. A light rain does collect some as well but slowly drains away over the next day or two. I guess time to take the cowl off again and see if I can find the problem.

Took the cowl off again today. This time I also removed some sealing tape (replaced) to get a better look. Since I washed the truck yesterday, there was a good inch of standing water in each end of the cowl. I reached in and poked a finger into each of the three drains on the passenger side. That standing water drained out in a couple of seconds. Inspection with a flashlight revealed all three drains on the passenger side stuffed with fine mud, probably from the dusty conditions in TX mixing with rain and wash water. Took a hose and a brush and cleaned out the drains as best I could. The drivers side was also completely plugged. Now both drains are flowing freely. Also wiped any remaining dirt from the cowl. I attached photos of the passenger drain before and after cleaning. Not a bad job but something I will keep an eye on in the future. Also need to pull the passenger carpet up to make sure everything is dry.
