Couple questions about options on a 2024 2500 Rebel

Hi all,

I noticed on the 2024 builder for the 2500 Rebel if you select the diesel you can not add the instrument panel mounted auxiliary switches.

Are they not compatible with the diesel somehow? I see you can click "Auxiliary-Switches Prep" but it's not clear what that means? I really like having the up -fitter switches in my F250 for plow light control and heated wiper control.

Can you put a plow on a 2500 Rebel? The option for "Heavy-Duty Snow-Plow Prep Group" and "Snow Chief Group" do not appear available on the Rebel configurator like they are on the Limited. I do see that you can add a second alternator and the Rebel probably already has the skid plate. I know plow manufacturers don't allow you to put the plow on a Power Wagon, hopefully that doesn't include the Rebel line?

Thank you

Follow-up question, does anyone with the 2500 Rebel (Diesel or Gas) have the FGAWR and RGAWR available? I would be interested in both of those numbers for both of the engine types. I have found the GVWR on the spec sheet.

thank you

I would check with a dealer to see what they say if no one chimes in. I've been through two factory orders with Stellantis and those online builders and trackers they have are GARBAGE. There are often options and combinations both available and unavailable that the tracker will say otherwise on. However, what a dealer can put in the system and actually order is what really matters (although many of us have had even those options changes from week to week).

I can’t answer the switch question, except to say that the online builders aren’t very accurate.

The Snow Chief and Snow Plow Prep groups are irrelevant on a Rebel, as it comes with basically all that stuff already.

My gas Rebel has a FAWR of 5500 and a RAWR of 6390.

Thank you. I found a diesel rebel I’m going to test drive next week so I will take a look at it’s door stickers for the ratings too.
