Convert to synthetic oil (Amsoil)?

Any opinions/advice on when I can change my new 6.7L to full synthetic oil? I ran Amsoil in my 5.9 for 186k miles with no issues and I’d like to convert my new truck but I think there’s a period where conventional oil should be run?

Pretty sure it's in there now.

Keep in mind the truck needs diesel spec 5W-40 or 10W-30 only because of the hydraulic lifters. No 15W-40.

These trucks are synthetic only if you are in a colder climate run 5w-40 if warmer climate run 10w-30

Thank you! I should have provided more details. I’m in Central Florida with time in North Georgia for the climate and I just turned 5k miles. Has the first oil change completed today (free). Can I switch to synthetic 10W-30 at the next oil change?
