Hello all, new guy here. Have an '04 2500 Cummins, and just picked up a '20 Bighorn Cummins - that has the aux/upfitter kit as part of the "Snow Chief" package. I have the bag of stuff and have a decent idea how to integrate into the aux switches. However, I just wanted to confirm that (given the truck is brand new) the pin for the commercial settings menu should just be a default "0000" and that I won't mess anything up. The manual seems pretty sparse on talking about this and my searches have not given me confidence without checking here. Thanks.

You are correct. Default PIN is 0000

How do you reset the password if the truck is used and the 0000 doesn't work

I believe you'll have to visit a Ram dealership so they can verify your VIN/registration against your ID and then they'll retrieve it for you.
