Bought a 2022 ram 2500 diesel with the 68RFE 6 speed . I had heard that this wasn’t the best transmission but had been much improved over years past. Shifts are very clunky and sometimes unpredictable, anyone else experiencing the same and if so any remedies out there ? This truck def needs a transmission upgrade.

If you just bought it I would give it a good thousand miles to learn your driving style. Many people report vast improvements in shift strategies after allowing the transmission to learn. Give it time. Most people report the Aisin being clunky, not the 68RFE

Need to let it do the learning process. Lots of stop and go traffic helps dearly with that
