Good morning. :)

Anybody know how many lumens the 2022 Clearance Lamps are each ?

It's not something the manufacturer publishes (for any lights) so doubt you'll ever find out unless you have a meter to measure yourself.

Curious what you are looking to do though?

.

My truck was accidentally ordered without Clearance Lights and was discovered too late in the process ... (It's due to ship this Sunday which means it's being built today, tomorrow or Friday.)

So I've ordered a set of Cab Over America solar Clearance Lights ( caboveramerica.com ) and was just curious if the lumen output was the same or close. Everything I've read says that they look great and all the reviews are stellar.

Just being Curious George .... :)

Don’t know the output but they are plenty bright on my truck. Never doubted their ability to be seen from far off

No problem! Post up some pictures of your clearance lights when you get them installed :)
Ohhhhhh yahhhhh.

Gonna try to fab up a module to turn these things on with the trucks lights. Stay tuned ..... ;)

That would be awesome. I ordered mine without clearance lamps then changed my mind. When I tried to order them again ram bumped the price up 2k (I ordered mine through Mark Dodge). I plan on ordering some COA lights too. Do you think it would be easier to find a way to somehow make the remote compatible with the ram aux switches? I'd much rather have them turn on automatically however, would still be awesome to use a aux switches rather than a remote. Please share your thoughts.

I've been looking for an electronics guy or electrical engineer and think I've found one !

Within five minutes of meeting this guy he had "learned" both the on and off code from the COA remote and was able to turn the lights on and off with his device. Now that he has that down all he has to do is find the appropriate trigger to the 12V input signal from the vehicle light circuit. He say that is't actually quite simple and that he just has to narrow down which device he wants to use.

We'll see.... I'm cautiously optimistic.

Awesome! I had the same idea I've been posting on electrical engineering forums lol. No luck so far.

I totally got lucky. Was talking to a buddy of mine about my idea and he mentioned that his Uncle is a wheelchair bound electrical engineer who makes one-off projecs for other disabled individuals. Got his number, went over to meet him and BAM .... project took a GIANT leap forward.

Still have a wait-and-see attitude though. As a mechanical engineer I know that things are not always as easy as they seem. o_O
