Changing Fuel Tank Size with Alpha OBD - Won't accept 208 liters

I know this is a popular thread and I've read many of them, but wanted to see if anyone has come up with a resolution or workaround to an unusual ECU experience.

I recently had an S&B 55 gallon fuel tank installed in my 2020 3500 Mega Cab Short Bed truck. I already had the Alpha OBD software and the Security Gateway Bypass cable so I figured it would be easy to change the fuel tank size. A quick search on the Inter Web tells me that 55 gallons translates to 208 liters (208.1977 to be a bit more exact). Connected both the Bypass cable and fired up Alpha OBD software. Navigated to fuel tank size under Car Configuration and was able to set the value to 208. After doing so, my analog fuel gauge went to E and my DTE say "low mileage". Filled the tank up and everything remained the same. Searched several forums and discovered a link that said that the largest value that can be set is 194 (51.25 gallons). I thought this was odd since the available setting range in Alpha OBD was much larger than that. Might have been 236. Anyway, I set it to 194 and the analog gauge jumped to F and the DTE read 857 miles. Great!

I know it's trivial and a bit obsessive on my part to want this to be set to 208, and if it "is what it is", I guess I'll have to accept it. Just curious to see if anyone else has come up with perhaps another setting that needs to be changed to allow the fuel tank size to be set to larger than 194 liters.

Thanks!
