I am looking for the Stock Height measurement from ground to Center of Headlight for LED Reflectors. There is a Reference Circle on the Lens. I installed my 1.75 Thuren Coils and need to adjust my Headlights.

Thanks

The factory height isn't relevant. Your headlight cutoff should be slightly below the center height at 25'.

If I have raised the front 1.75 " that would make a difference no? I guess just subtracting that from what I have now would work at 25'. After the Coil install it measures 46" to Center.

Raising the front will change the angle that they're at, and thus require adjustment to return it to the proper aim, but the height at 25' depends entirely on the height at the headlights. If you adjusted them to the same height at25' that they were stock you'd end up with a significantly shorter light throw.

You lost me there. Does not raising the truck front also raise the beam cut off at 25'. Which would need to lower the cut off line to original setting.

I’ll try to do a better job explaining.

Say at stock height the center of your headlights is 40” (completely made up). The cutoff of the headlight beam at 25’ should have been just lower than 40”.

You lifted the front 1.75” so your headlight center is now at 41.75”. Because you only lifted the front and not the rear you’ve changed the angle of the truck, so now your headlight beam cutoff at 25’ might be something like 43”, meaning your headlights are pointed up in the air. If you adjust them so the beam is at stock height (40”) then the headlights would be pointed down towards the ground at a steeper angle than they were stock. To return them to the stock angle you want the cutoff to be just below the current height of the headlights.

One more note, you’ll want to be sure that you’re parked on very flat ground with a flat wall ahead to do these adjustments. Even a slight slope will mess it up.

Pull up to your garage door, assuming your driveway is flat. I get within a foot or two. Mark the spot where the beams are. Back up 25' and adjust to the spots that you marked on the door.
