Other than tapping on the icon on the touchscreen is there anything that needs selected to turn this camera on? I have it and it's on my window sticker but when I hit the button to view the bed the screen goes blue and says not available....any ideas?

Thats all you need to do, there may be an issue with the camera itself you should still have warranty id get the dealer on it

Truck has 72 miles...still has warranty....heading there in the morning....gotta get my spare dual alternator belt and an oil filter anyway....

It may take a wile to come up too but id bring it in just to see,
 
Dealer didn't have time to look at it... appointment 2 weeks out....smh...
 
dealer found mine doing the same thing during pdi. started a case file with ram. ordered a new radio per ram. will be a few weeks for parts will see if that fixes it.

Sh't really? I was hoping they could just look at it real quick so It wouldn't be 2 weeks until they had to order something....
 
when they did the radio update to the new radio it cut out the cargo camera. so radio is not the problem its software. they are still waiting for word from ram tech on what to do next

Are you talking about yours? I guess they had ram send them some software update and it didnt fix it....tested all the wires and modules and it was all good...Ram said new radio for me.... we'll see...

did the same with mine. after radio install camera worked but radio needed latest update. they did the update and the cargo camera not there just like old radio. so that means its software. dealer is waiting to hear back from ram

Would you hold off on getting a new radio then or get it just to make sure?
 
Speaking of bed cameras, with mine tilted all the way down, I still can't see the bed. Hell, I can't even see the tailgate. Can those be adjusted so they show SOMETHING that I want to see? The bed.
