CAUGHT: 2025 Ram 2500 Rebel Crew Cab 4×4

Did I miss something? I thought 8 speed and a single Cummins variant was a confirmed change for 2025 but now I see doubt. Where did the doubt come from?

Nothing has been confirmed. It’s looking good, but there hasn’t been an official announcement from Ram confirming the change.

I hope I'm wrong, but I've been fed some intel that it's not happening until a new Cummins engine platform hits in 2027.

I thought Ram already ended the contract with Aisin and shut down the 68 production?

I bet you might be onto something. I’m scared to see the 2028 Cummins changes but makes sense they would do Both at the same time

I love love love my current RAM. But my days are numbered, and so I want to experience things. When RAM comes out with a substantial power bump I will be buying one. I have a new InTech Trailer ordered and I want a new Truck to pull it. I want to go racing. I am likely going to order a 25 SD with the HO, just to have that experience. But I WANT a Ram. Dammit.

I really like my current Ram too, and I loved the previous one as well. I will likely wait to get a new Ram till it's all new, sounds like this round will be limited largely to engine and transmission. Which, for many will be compelling enough?
