I finally put my extended length Carli sway bar links in to keep my longer Metal Cloak Dual Rate springs from coming out of the stock perches at high articulation. They end up abut 3 inches longer than stock and much beefier. Longer springs allow more articulation in the rear. IMG_6806.JPGIMG_6807.JPG

This arrived shortly after I installed the sway bar links. Hitch roller from Broken ROck. I functions as a Roller/ step and a recovery point they even sent a free soft shackle.IMG_6817.JPG

Wouldn’t that just make you more likely to hit on a departure and increase the leverage of that hit against your hitch?

It is useful or places like Moab where you might drag the rear on solid rock. It will let you roll off without getting hung up. I have used hitch skid plate designed units in the past. I think this will be better. With the hitch skid plate designs they alert the backup sensors when I am in reverse. As long as the front tires have traction it should work better.
