Hi everyone, just got done doing my garage install and thought I'd share my build. I wasn't looking for anything crazy but to improve ride quality and gain some ground clearance. I went with Carli 's 2.5 level which included 1" rear blocks, Thuren Track Bar, 285/75/18 Yokohama AT-X on stock wheels. So far I'm pleased with about 400 miles. The alignment shop followed close to Thuren specs accept he set the toe at 0.10 degrees toe in. He explained that I would get outside tire wear with 0-5 degrees Thuren recommended. I'll keep an eye on tire wear patterns. Ride seems much better on medium to larger bumps still a little bouncy on smaller road imperfections but hey it's a 3500. I'm currently running tire pressures at 55 PSI front and 45 PSI rear. I did the build solo with two floor jacks and tall jack stands. All went smooth with no hiccups. I took my time on the front, 1/2 day and did the rear blocks the following day. The rear blocks only took a couple hours. I measured before and after the install and I achieved 2" front lift which is 1/2" less than advertised. I guess the amount of lift differs from truck to truck.
AT 61 years old the install kicked my *** crawling up and down gathering parts, tools etc. Also some of the torque values were 255 ft lbs which exerts some energy. The local dealer quoted me $700 and thought I'd do a better job anyway.
Anyway here's a few pics. Couldn't resist the last one after leaving the local restaurant
