When ever I open the driver door (not sure if other doors do it), before starting, and when done driving and shutting off motor, the cargo and bed lights come on for awhile. Cargo light switch inside the headlight switch is off. Headlight illumination on approach, and after motor off are all set to 0 seconds.
How can I get the Cargo and bed lights not to come on unless I turn it on manually at the Headlight switch?

Turn to switch that controls your interior lights. The one that does all 3 lights in the cab. Located between the two map lights. Turn that all the way off and no more cargo light.

Thanks for the response. But Unless I'm missing something, that would cause me to have no interior lights on when I open the door at night. Seems there should be a way to not have the cargo lights come on.

I've tried to keep my cargo light off but so far I have been unsuccessful. The fewer lights turning on without my input the better. Hopefully, someone on here knows how.

Unless you have alfa obd i dont think there is a way.... i dont understand why you would not want that personally i like that feature

Exactly its a great feature. Turn off the interior light's to get your cargo light off....then use a flashlight for inside the cab...hell buy one of them tap lights.

Im with you, I hunt and fish in Az and for other reasons as well, I wish I could have complete darkness when I open my door at 4am while out hunting.. May put a toggle switch in the Ram box to keep bed lights off. Just have not figured out how to keep ALL interior and Headlights off yet.

Would it be possible to kill the lights with a switch from the aux switch panel?
