Can the power mirrors be programmed to automatically fold when you lock the truck or every time you shut it off?

I am wondering if the power mirrors can be programmed to automatically fold when either you turn the truck off or arm iT? Is this

Not that I know of but aren’t you in the truck when you use the mirrors, so what’s so hard about hitting the little button before you get out of the truck lol


You may be able to put some sort of relay in that when the door lock gets power, it’ll trip the relay that will power the mirror button, but that would take some figuring out but likely possible
 
But if you lock the doors will driving then the mirrors would fold in???
 
I've got my 2023 configured to fold the mirror when the doors are locked. No idea if earlier models can do the same.

Why would you lock your doors while driving?(i know the doors auto lock) Besides i think they automatically go out after a certain speed. There may be a way to do it but i would need to go through diagrams to see where you could trigger it from
 
That’s what I mean, auto lock feature. Also, when I roll through Chicago I lock the doors!

I would like to have the mirrors auto field when your hit the arm button on the key fob like my BMW does. The Beemer was programmed that way from something like an Alfa programmer after I got it. Would be nice if the ram could do it too.
It’s a big truck and they make parking spaces way too small.
and to answer your statement about hitting the button. Well that’s what I do when I remember. Obviously if it automatically did it it would be better.
 
Might be ok, but wouldn’t dig them opening automatically..my buddy somehow got his to do it on his TRX, for what that’s worth.
 
Auto fold would conflict with my use of the mirror folding capability. I fold mine when I park in the garage/carport, and I want them to stay folded until I am backed out.
 
I have it on my truck and it works just fine.
 
My 2023 has an auto-fold option, but manually hitting the button overrides the automatic function, keeping my mirrors safe. Here's how it works:

Mirrors out, shut off truck, lock truck = mirrors fold in on lock.
Mirrors deploy when remote start is used, or when I turn on the truck, NOT on unlock.

If I manually fold the mirrors with the button, they stay folded regardless of lock/unlock, remote start, or normal start. I have to manually hit the button to deploy.

I don't remember where I found the option, it's in the menu somewhere. Hope this helps.

pre 23, no.

No mirror autofold. No window global up/down.

Tazer Ram should do it as it's a live feature.

I can program mine to fold in on the Uconnect touch screen
