Camera system not working

Lately, when I take my tailgate off my whole camera system flashes on and off. I take the tailgate off to put the truck camper on and didn’t have this issue last summer. This issue didn’t happen last summer and I have made no changes to the truck since. Anyone have a solution? Thanks

Thats a private group unless you are a member you cant see it with the incorrect name for these trucks…this is not a 5th gen

I can’t add videos in this but basically the screen flickers from showing the image to black screen with “camera system unavailable) regardless of which camera angle I select.
