Camera hole in winter front

For anyone running the winter front and have the front camera no need to stare at a fuzzy screen. Took me three attempts but I now have about 95% view. I started cutting small circle but had to go to sizes bigger. If I had to it again I would not go as high with the hole.

I used windshield washer hose split down the spine. My first two attempts were better as I got a straighter cut with slightly smaller hose that had no words stamped on it. Final attempt was on a colder day with frozen fingers. I may try some door edge guard one day but this works for now.

I dunno... somebody in FCA's design dept figured that customers living on the frozen prairie wouldn't use the front camera for four to five months of the year? Or perhaps the covers should come with scissors?

Ya scissors Maybe a kids craft set with every truck sold in the cold! When I picked up my truck and they explained how the truck ‘’works’’ Basically how to turn on the radio the sales man just shrugged his shoulders when the front camera showed grey I guess the days of them showing customers how to open the hood and check the oil on a $10 grand motor are gone.....
