Been reading posts about cab/bed alignment. 2019 2500. When standing behind bed, it favors the passenger side of cab, also when looking at side of truck, the body lines are prob 1/2 - 3/4 inch off. The cab line is higher than the bed lines. Dealer is making arrangements to take to local body shop.Anyone else have the same issues?

Yes, several of us have posted about it. Mine was really far off side-side and I think it's still a little twerked.

If you have the bed/cab aligned, make sure the tailgate works properly when they're done.

The body shop seems to think its going to be a cab issue. Waiting on Dodge to okay the charges before it goes in

They had to adjust both bed and cab on my truck.

My only real concern was the note that they were at the limits of adjustment to opposing sides.

Yeah, for what a person pays for a new truck, this shouldn’t even be an issue. I’ll keep y’all updated when their done

Not to beat a dead horse, but what was the actual fix for the body line issue?

Side-side they will just loosen the cab and/or bed mounts and adjust it.

Up/Down I assume they have shims they can install. Mine was good side-side when I picked it up but before I could get a really good look at the body lines which are really not noticeable, I saw the smashed up fender flare their lot monkey trashed and got distracted.

A lot of owners just DIY this using a bottle jack and wood blocks to shift the cab and/or bed.

Yes, exactly what I did, shifted just my cab over.

Reviving an older thread to say that my cab and bed for my 2021 mega cab also seem to have alignment issues. Bed and cab are much closer on the drivers side with a much larger gap on the passenger.

I'm wondering if they're running into limits on either the cab or bed since the call I received today was that the auto body shop wasn't able to correct the issue as easily as they had hoped and they're thinking that there might be something else wrong that needs to be addressed? Not really sure what that means and I only hope that they were just saying that because they weren't able to work on it today to get it back the same day they promised.

Unfortunately I don't trust many shops so I'm wondering if there's anything I should go back to look at their work after picking it up? Are all bolts holding down both cab and bed visible from underneith?

FWIW, my work order after alignment was noted, "Adjustments are at max."
