Hi you all, 2019 Ram 2500 HD diesel, 4x4 ( Obviously otherwise I wouldn't have a transfer case) . Since the plugs are NPT do they have torque specs and if so would you also use Teflon tape. Thank you

15-22 ft/lbs, and yes I did use Teflon due to evidence of there being some thread sealing materiel used from OE.

Never heard of people using a torque wrench on pipe threads. Thread wear and sealant would affect torque readings. Just snug them up - the taper of the pipe thread seals things.

I'd generally agree, though torque ranges aren't "only" for proper tightness ie proper compressive/assembly force although most common... It can also be a range to ensure one doesn't over tighten. Which is what I assume this is for given the plugs are NPT and only get tight from their taper.
Addionally, my previous post was just quoting amsoil's site... Where they got this spec, I have no idea... But I used it and no leaks. So do, or do not, ultimately up to each owner.

I would like to thank you guys for the info, myself not been a gear head and this is my first Diesel truck and a 4X4 (I live in FL no need for it) its important to get the info that the owner manual does not cover. As an update I did my TC with no problems, used Teflon and tighten the bolts. No leaks and it shifts just fine. LOL now its Transmission fluid/filter time so more questions on the way.
