Hopefully this is the correct place for this question. It was here or the Uconnect section. I bought the bullet point Mag safe phone mount for y 2020 2500 Laramie has 12" screen no factory ram wireless charger. I cant get it to charge. It "dings" and starts charging when I put the phone on it but after 2-3 seconds it stops charging. Then after about 5-10 seconds it starts charging again then repeats the cycle. Anyone use the Bulletpoint wireless charger with their iPhone? Specifically iPhone 16 pro Max? Thank you

What do you have the charger plugged into? I have a different brand wireless charger, but I had to try 3 different adapters to find one that would charge correctly.

Plugged into the USB port. Tried both the b and C type. I tried the 110v outlet and it works fine. The usb on the truck must not be strong enough. Works fine in my wife’s 1500 and in our jeep but I guess they didn’t feel like putting the fast charge usb in the 2500

Which USB port? I think they do provide different power outputs which might not be compatible with the charger.

Bulletpoint didn't make a MagSafe mount when I was setting up my truck so I ended up using their arms and plates and using some aliexpress mag safe charger with same size ball joint, I run 2 of them off a dual USB adapter in the 12v socket on top of the dash.

From another post in HD forum looks like some trucks USB-C port works with quick charge but a lot of "which cable" and "which phone" issues.

Yea I read that a little earlier. Just not sure if our USB’s are QC or not. The wife’s truck works fine. My 2500 just doesn’t.

USB-A ports are 100% not QC, some of the USB-C's might be have to play around and find out which ones work for you.

Found this older post:

2020 ram 3500 - Tried MagSafe chargers plugged into the rear USB ports on my center console, and they failed, shutting down the usb ports. I had to use the inverter 110v port on the back of my center console to run a higher-wattage USB-C charger to operate two MagSafe phone mounts in the tray in front of the console. Only operates when the truck is running, but charges great!
