Hi guys

I have been going in circles on this, reading, studying, price comparing etc

Some info
My truck came with a 5" Fabtech lift on Fox Dirt Logics, radius arms and supporting bits. It's stiff and too tall for me. The geometry just isn't right.
Because of this, I need a full setup. 4 coils, 4 shocks and supporting bits
I am running the 20" Trail ready wheels from CJC with 38 x 13.5 tires
I'd like to keep using the Fabtech radius arms. Their website indicates they are adjustable for use between 2.5 and 7" lifts, so that works
I will already have some front forward weight, which may give me the rake I am looking for anyway. AEV bumper and Warn cable winch.

What I like
Slight forward rake
As minimal a lift as possible while fitting the above tires

Given that I need four coils and shocks, a simple "level" would be about as much $ as a kit from Carli and Thuren since I'd be purchasing standard coils anyway from the stealership

Options
- Carli Commuter 2.0 - 3.25 lift all around. This is the lift CJC are running on their shop truck with the wheels / tires I have. I like it, though I still feel its a bit too tall. Perhaps its needed though for the 38s ?

- Thuren 2.75 front and 1" rear kit. On paper it sounds perfect, giving the slight rake I'd like. However literally every picture and post I read about the kit makes it look tall in the front.. supported by many purchasers agreeing with this stance. (I know, every truck is different, they settle, etc etc) but why start with a reverse rake if that is the optical tendancy of thier kit to begin with

- Piecemeal together a custom setup to get what I'd like. I don't know where to start on that though

Let me know what you'd do, or if there are other options out there

I did the piece it together kit ...carli 3" fronts, pure performance 2.5" rears, rc trac bars, bilstein 5100's and dual stabilizer kit.

I am doing the Carli commuter 2.0 3.25” with the add a pack in the rear and I” block, that will give me 3.25” in the front and 2” in the back. I am going to put 37x12.5’s..

how do you like the 38’s…I keep waffling between the 37’s and 35’s…

When you say the geometry isn’t right what do you mean?
You say too stiff, do you have adjustable shocks?

Previously, I had 17" wheels and 37s and had no problems at all. Great setup
I wanted to go with the TR / CJC 20" wheels they came out with and instead of running those 20s with 37s, I thought it would look more balanced with the 38s. As far and feel on highway or off I can't tell a difference, they feel the same

5" is a lot of height, along with standoffs for all other components they provide with it, it feels like it pushes the truck outside its comfort zone. Roll center is massive, cog is through the roof, the springs are curving between the bucket and the shock tower, the steering feels loose and like its falling over itself. I realize its a lifted truck and not a sportscar. However, my previous truck (2018 Ram 2500 Prospector) felt literally factory with the AEV kit while being lifted.
The dampers are not adjustable.
