Hi, I have a 2020 Ram 2500 with the 6.4 and 4.10 gears. About 1,300 miles on it now. Got it jan 20th. I just put some 305/70r17 tires on without the tpms and I seem to get a hesitation or lurching occasionally. Do you think it’s a coincidence or does the trans have to learn the new tire size? I was going to get a taser or alpha obd later to get rid of the tire pressure light and adjust for tire size but don’t have the money for it now. Any ideas? If this is in the wrong thread let me know, I’m new.

spend the money and get a device to correct your speedo. Don't take this wrong as it is not meant as a dig, but if you can afford a 2020 2500 you can afford $149. regardless those tires are not much bigger than stock so you should not be having issues related to tire size. I run 35's and it did not buck or lurch before calibrating the speedo. It does however drive better over all with the speedo calibrated.

No offense taken. I was planning on Getting a taser or alpha obd later on. I just may have to get it sooner than I expected. Just surprised me is all. Maybe the 4.10 rear amplifies it somewhat.

I have a 2020 power wagon so I have 4.10's as well.

here is a thought is it your mds kicking on? does it do it if you use +- to limit gears?

I didn’t try that gear limit yet, but I don’t think it’s mds. I notice it mainly when taking off from a start

Nothing like that with CTD on 35s in 6kmi.
If I could afford one I would of got one. Not that I really need it anyway but if I did buy one I’d delete and tune it too lol. My brother has an older one and it moves. When they start pairing them with an 8 speed they will be really nice.
