Hello all,
Bought my Ram yesterday, it is a new 2019 Laramie Sport Mega cab 4x4 Cummins. Walked all around it, found a couple weird things like the Alpine label on the speaker above the screen to be peeling off. I figured this is just due to it sitting in the sun for a while.
Well, got home, parked it in the garage and went to bed. Went out this morning to put my toolbox in, arrange the interior, pair my phone, etc. I noticed a dent, actually 2, right next to each other on the driver side of the rear bumper. Of course, today being Sunday, they aren't open. I emailed my salesman with a picture of the damage and was replied to apologizing to me for having to deal with this and saying they would get with the manager in the morning.
I know for a fact I did not do it. Not sure how I didn't notice it at the dealer, I guess being white it is a lot harder to see than if it were chrome. What is the best way to handle this? Call the manager of the dealer in the morning and discuss? I was considering calling FCA, but I guess I shouldn't do that until there is a problem, or am I wrong?
What do you guys think?
EDIT:
The dealer still owes me my 2nd key as they were unable to find it. They also owe me a set of wheel to wheel nerf bars that they ordered and are going to install in the next couple days.
