A few weeks ago I bought a 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman with Cummins 6.7L from a local Ford dealer but they had absolutely no info on the performance mods - in fact they ignored them in the listing and pricing and while they acknowledged the deletion, they didn't really want to figure them out for me. When adding the cost of these mods I'd say I got a nice deal since they just priced it for a stock truck. Anyway, I'd like to know what I have here and I'm attaching photos of the hardware (and where deleted hardware was). I popped off the interior panel where the hood release is to get the attached pics of the various boxes/switches. The round knob only goes in positions 1, 2, 3 & 4 -- at the least I'd like to know what each tune is (light tow, heavy tow, sport, whatever). It runs great but any additional info would be appreciated.

The round knob says "Calibrated Power" (looked them up and didn't learn any specifics for me), and there's a box labeled "Directed", one with "Fish Tunes" on it,

There's a small metal toggle On/Off switch. What would that be needed for?

Engine pics show obvious removals, and I think the exhaust pics show basically a straight pipe? (can't identify any muffler; it's pretty loud and sounds great) I guess the exhaust filter? is gone. - wondering if the Exhaust Brake function is deleted?

What about regen - will the truck ever go into regen with these deletions?

DEF meter stays at 100%.. is that likely just full and never used or is the meter held there artificially?

Also wondering how to tell if I have the 68RFE transmission or the other one.

Thanks for any help yall can provide!

I can help with a few....Yea looks like a straight pipe. Which means no DPF, so no regens. DEF gage stays at full, as a feature with the program. You have the 68 trans, dipstick would be on the driver side if you had the aisin. The exhaust brake should work, it’s part of the turbo and changing out the exhaust does not effect its operation. Under the hood your egr cooler and egr valve have been kidnapped.

The one box and toggle switch is for remotestart

Not sure what the fishtunes is for but i would call calibrated power with your vin and see if they can tell you about your loaded tunes

Directed box is remote Starr x3 lock button. Egr delete, soft switch for tune levels is the 12345, dpf delete pipe, fishtune unsure on.

The fish tuning is just the Company who makes the dsp5 switchs and bypass cables

They make them for all diesel platforms and sell them in bulk with tuners names on them, in this case it's calibrated power

There website is fish tuning, as for the tunes there calibrated powers as shown. Usually it goes from heavy tow, light tow, economy, sport, race which are in 30hp incrediments such as 30/60/90/120/150

I have a 3500 limited ram 2018 with the 68RFE trans, full delete str8 piped 4 " with that 0 to 5 stage tuner. Blew my trans at 130000km. Getting a billet stage 2 race trans with a stage 1 tune. 68RFE is a learning trans, so those 0 to 5 tunes will wreck them if you switch it majorly, burns the clutches. Better off getting 1 tune, and mines a built trans. Those 68RFE trans are garbage stock. And both engine and transmission ecm should be tuned at the same time, they use the same ecm
