Just picked up my 2500 Cummins with 'black appearance pack' and its very nice. Black doesn't extend to the wheel lugs however and I'd like to fix that. I have seen Colorlugs which are vinyl tubes you shove over the existing lugs. They are cheap but some reports say they are hard to get off and, when you do, they don't go back on again. Some people who have bought black coated lugs off Amazon say they look lovely until you put them on and the socket chips them.

Has anyone had experience that they're happy with?

Look into the Gorilla Locking lug Nuts. Had great service with them and they are good quality.

The Driven Products black lugs work great, initial install and 1 rotation so far and no visible marks from the air guns.

The Amazon configurator says it doesn't fit the 2500 but they absolutely do. The 32 pack is what you'll need.

Do you have a part number for those? I can only find the McGard 64074 Black M14 x 1.5 Bulge Cone Seat lug nuts on Amazon and wonder if they will fit. Amazon says they will, but would prefer to verify with another trusted source.
