Greetings!

I'm researching a new crop of mods to the truck and have settled on Night Edition LED signature (Laramie, non-adaptive) headlights. For the fogs I'm either going to do Baja Designs SAE Amber that fit in my stock bezels, or Laramie LED to match the stock lights. Did some searching and most of the fog light swaps have to do with Tradesmans going to Big Horn (round, halogen) lights, although there's some good jimmy07 stuff out there in them.

A few questions/clarifications remain that I didn't find on the search. Anyone done the swap?

1) It seems there is only one left/right LED factory fog light P/N, which means they don't have a black background Night Edition version, correct?

2) For those who may have done the swap and have park sensors, anyone have the part number or list of P/Ns needed for the Laramie style bezels? There's like 500 P/Ns for fog bezels, but they don't say what their unique details are. I.E, the headlight descriptions say "LED, Black", "LED, Chrome"...etc. All the fog bezels just say, "Fog Lamp Bezel Kit, Left Includes Right & Left." My truck has the front Park Sense option so I'd be looking for the ones that have the sensor holes in them.

3) Since my truck already has fogs, I don't think I need a special harness for the factory LEDs and all I need to do is make some AlphaOBD changes so it sends the correct signals to them, yes? I already have and use AlphaOBD.

4) Any other bolts and doodads needed for the swap?

Thanks. If I go this route and these questions remain after, I'll try to update or make a write-up thread when swapping. I think worst case I'll need to grab a Laramie LED VIN from a dealer website and have the Stealership try to find P/Ns for me. Since dealership employees are about as useful as bull nipples, that should be a fun exercise.

I have done this but I got all the brackets and bezels with the fog lights. Bought them from a guy who put in off-road fogs.

I can only speak to number 3. The only thing you need to do outside AlfaODB is you have to swap the pins on both sides. There are two pins and you have to swap their positions to provide the correct polarity. It isn’t that hard but maybe YouTube how to remove the pins from the connector.

Baja Designs website has some part numbers for the bezels and brackets, or you can buy a full kit from CJC offroad (if going with the BD fogs)

I think there are not special fog lights for night edition since they are Just reflectors no housing that would be black.

@Epsilon Plus you will need brackets, bezels and the lights. Now I could be wrong but I don’t believe they offer LED lights without the park sense. I personally would recommend going the aftermarket route. You already have the correct bezels for baja designs or diode dynamics kits. Their lights blow the factory fog lights away. I don’t remember the part numbers right off as I swapped my leds for a set of diode dynamics and had to buy the halogen bezels and brackets.

They do, just added these to the tradesman.

@SOKY_Ram thanks man I had one part number I wasn’t sure about and that’s what it was for led w/o park sense

After doing a little digging there should be
5 different bezels
Blank- 68449247aa
halogen- 68449341aa
halogen with park sense- 68449343aa
led-68449321aa
led with park sense- 68449388aa
2 different brackets
Halogen - 68449383aa
Led -68449381aa

Now I believe to the best of my ability that these numbers are correct. If anyone has anything different let me know and I’ll edit this.

What about Left vs Right?

The bezels and brackets are sold as a set. So they come with the left and right brackets
I bought my lights off ebay. They are oem takeoffs and already had the brackets attached. There was one other piece that fills the gap between the light and the bezel that was attached to the lower two bracket screws. You can see it in the pic below. Not sure if this comes with the brackets or if you have to buy it separate.

I wish I had recorded all the part numbers before i installed them.

Great stuff in this thread. The bezels are listed as "kits" on the parts websites so they may have all the stuff. At $12.22 for the bezel kit and $19.78 for the brackets, I'm willing to give it a shot and report back.

led with park sense- 68449388aa

I searched for that P/N and came up empty. I believe the correct one for LED with Park Sense is 68449321AA based on this description (I dunno how to get out of this pasted font)

"[MBA], [LED Fog Lamps], [ParkSense FT/RR Park Assist System], [Powder Coated Front Bumper], [LED Fog Lamps], [Tow Hooks], [Front Electric Winch], [Bright Front Bumper], [LED Fog Lamps], [Bright Front Bumper], [LED Fog Lamps], [Tow Hooks] AND/OR [Chrome Tow Hooks]."

The description for that part number is incorrect. The correct bezel kit for led fogs with park sense is 68449338AA
