I am looking at purchasing a 2019 Ram 2500 Bighorn 6.4 with the Level 2 Equipment Group. I've had 3 Ford F250 diesels in a row and and have grown tired Ford and their diesels. Have had the 7.3,6.0 and now the LEMON 6.4. I just have a pontoon boat and a 31' camper I pull about 30 miles 7-8 times a year. Any regrets or any other options you wish this model had? I have had 3 Lariats in a row so I may add the Katzkin leather later on. I just cant see or have the extra money to pay $60-$75K on a diesel truck, especially with the government having them choked down. I have ONLY owned GMC and Ford trucks, so this would be my FIRST Ram. Just wanna hear the pros and cons of switching from GM and Ford to RAM. THANKS for ANY ADVICE and input.

I had a Ford 6.7 f250 prior to my 6.4 Ram 2500. I like my Ford but was worried about the diesel once my warranty went out. I pull our 5ver twice a year and our tritoon about every weekend. So the diesel was more of a want than a need. I’m very happy with my Ram. The ride on the 2500 with coils is much better for me than the Ford leaf springs. I miss the torque here and there of the diesel but I wouldn’t go back for the worry and cost.
