I need new tires.
So what would you choose and why with these 2 new tires?

I live 2 miles down a dirt road.
I see snow, rain and mud throughout the year.
My current tires are Mickey Thompson Baja Boss. I've run KO2s for years.
But now I'm in a different enviroment.

KO3’s would have to have received a big change in design from KO and KO2’s. The last two generations were mediocre on wet pavement and like greased hockey pucks in snow.

Haven’t used the ATW4’s, but the Falken ATW3’s are next best thing to a snow tire in my experience.

I never had a problem with KO2s in the rain. Never ran them in snow or mud.

I’ve never been a big KO2 fan, but have some JLR takeoffs on my TJ that are doing pretty good but no winter use yet.

The wife has AT3’s on her JTR and I prefer them over the KO2s, but I wanted a 5 wheel set so KO2’s are what I got.

Basically I agree with @Wanderlust073 on AT4’s over KO3’s.

Are KO3s available in the size you want yet? Last I checked the sizing was still pretty limited.

Gravel is hell on all terrains as they tend to hold onto the rocks.

Have you considered going more aggressive with an M/T?

I voted for something else. But I could vote for the bfg's just as easily. I've had good luck with them. It's hard to say what tire another person should get. 2 miles down a dirt road could be spicy. Either tire choice would probably be great. But if it was snowy or really muddy you'd probably wish you had mud tires. Or just put chains on. I've had the baja bosses on my truck for a good while now. Getting worn and loud. Been a great tire. My use has changed and I don't encounter mud anymore. Probably just get some michelins.

A few years back I had to remove my camper from the ranch after a lot of rain. I thought it was gonna be a winchfest. But the bfgs suprised me and we made it out of there. Probably had 1k lbs of mud on the camper after the 4 miles or so to pavement.

How have you liked the Baja Boss ATs and how quiet have they been as they have progressed.

The bajas have been great. Can't say they were ever quiet. But after maybe 30k I realized they are just too loud now. I would get them again if I still had a muddy deer lease.

I've run Ko2's with no complaints, they weren't particularly standout good at anything, and they weren't really bad at anything either.

I'm currently running Falken AT3W's, they're really good at just about everything, except mud, got stuck real bad in a soggy patch of my yard that's on a hill that I've never had an issue with in the past. They're also great tires for plowing, never had an issue while running them in the snow.

I was also running Kenda Klever RT's (KR601) for a while. For their price I'm extremely impressed, they're more aggressive then the previous 2 tires I mentioned, but their noise and ride comfort is just as good. I'm actually trying to sell my 35" klevers so I can upgrade to 37's for the summer season. I would recommend checking out the klevers before you make a decision, and they're very reasonably priced when they go on sale.

Tell me more about the Kendas.
Found them on ebay for $1120 shipped. And I can pay an extra $100 and they will ship to a local tire shop that will mount and balance them for me.
So $1220 mounted and balanced and out the door.
I'm going to look up some reviews on YouTube tonight.
I have Kenda tires on both of my quads and they work great.

Kendas stellar reputation in powersports is what lead me to take a gamble on them a couple years back when i first discovered they made truck tires.

There's a lot of reviews online since then where people love them, and I really like mine, they look so aggressive and they are just as quiet as the AT3's & KO2's on the road. I think they were very well received by most people that tried them and they must be gaining popularity quick because they're getting more expensive pretty quick.

I ran my Klevers for 1 entire year, so that included some daily driving, some towing, and some plowing. They did well in all conditions and they looked mean doing it.

It should also be noted that kenda does offer a more mild AT version of this tire, and a more aggressive MT version of this tire. I have no experience with either of them, but they are options if you want to take a gamble and go more or less aggressive.
