I tow a toy hauler that is around 13,000 pounds loaded. My OEM Firestone's tread is just not holding up towing this load. What are others who tow this weight running for tires? Hotshots? Probably looking for an HT tire, not taking this big of a trailer too far out in the puckerbrush. The RAM usually has a trailer attached.

If I remember right from watching a bunch of videos on YT from fellas who pull gooseneck trailers as a full-time job they almost unanimously felt like the Michelin defender 10ply gave them the best miles per dollar cost of Tire.

Once the crappy Cooper HT tires that came on my used 2500 wear down a bit more the Michelins are what I will be going with.

My recommendation is for the Michelin Defender. I put a set of the LTX M/S on my truck at 33,740 on 10/17/2023, replacing the OEM tires. My truck is just shy of 66,000 and the tires show very little tread wear. I tow a 11,500 GVWR fifth wheel, and it's usually loaded close to that. Towing since the replacement tires is about 1/3rd of the mileage. While I've gone down a few dirt roads, I don't really take the truck off road.
