Best parking spot for paint job?

2022 Ram, I only have two choices for now for parking at home. May get a carport later.
Which would be better in the heat of summer for keeping the paint looking good, park in the sun or under an oak tree? I like parking in the shade but birds dont seem to care if your new truck is under them when it's time to do their business.

Sun. Fading can take a really long time if you are good with your sealant/wax.

Seconded. And with the way my oaks drop acorns, I sometimes get concerned about the truck in the garage!

Regular wash and wax routine will keep it in shape. Truck cover wouldn't hurt.

I mean if we really wanna play this game there is nothing on a black olive. Year long yellow flower buds that stain everything they touch for life

I use to park in the trees shade at work. But there's a big pond. The birds seem to favor going from the pond to the tree to dry off. Then jump, poo on my rig, fly, repeat..... I'm pretty good with a coat of Meguiars M21 2x/yr so I choose full sun and a w/s sunshade.
