Hi All
I have a 2019 Ram 2500 Laramie. I recently had a faulty module that effective almost every system on board from blindspot alert to my radio. Prior to that, I noticed that my DPF gauge never moved from zero. @ 8200 miles when the warranty work was done, I seen it at 20% for about 3 days. It wen into automatic exhaust regeneration process soon after. Since then I have not seen it move again. Maybe its me, but I am having little faith in the onboard monitoring of my DPF. So, I am asking, does anyone have a suggestion for a good APP and bluetooth scanner that will read and provide DPF filter status and regen processes as they happen? Thanks

I use blue driver it’s a obd2 plug in that Bluetooths to your phone and you can want the percentage and when it gets close to 100% it will regen.

OBDLink MX or MX+ are the go to OBD readers as they also work with AlfaOBD if you ever decided to make any BCM changes (there are other threads about this). The app I have heard most positive of is Torque Pro. There is a post on here somewhere that has a link with the custom PID's already setup to read the different exhaust sensors. I can't find it at the moment, but I think it may have been @brutal that posted it

Link to the PID file with install instructions in the above post. Pretty much any ELM327 reader will work*, but AlphOBD "official" support is primarily the MX and MX+. The MX seems OOS everywhere last time I looked.

* That said, my BAFX was acting up on me so I started using the MX+ a few weeks ago to see if that makes any difference.

i see an automatic reg message every 200 miles. Starts when it reaches 50%. seems excessive coming from my VW (once a month/800 miles)

Do you do a lot of idling or short drives?
