Long story short. I had a Ram 1500 Laramie. Loved it. Traded it in on a Ford 2500 4X4 Lariat . . . hated it. Found a 2022 Ram Power Wagon for a great price and absolutely love it. Idiot me . . didn't even think about the towing capacity because it was a 2500. Yes, I am an idiot.

Here is the dilemma. I have a 2024 Forest River Salem 30VCVIEW Toy Hauler (3 dirt bikes in the rear - 700 pounds - never tow with fresh water). Weight is about 10200 loaded and hitch weight about 1500 to 1600. I am running a Blue OX Sway Pro 1500 WDH and that seems to work pretty well, but I am still getting some getting some squat in the rear end. We do not pull any further than 5 -6 hours tops, but the F250 had no issue and I am trying to be safe with the Ram PW now that I realize I am at the top end of it's of towing capacity. I am having and Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 installed this week and feel like this is the best thing I can do. I am sure I will have to adjust the current settings of the WDH which is fine.

What advice can you any of you offer without telling me I have the wrong truck. I friggin' love this PW, I just wish I wasn't an idiot regarding the towing capacity when I bought it.

your truck is plenty good for the trailer you’re hauling. don’t over think it the bags will help the squat and the WDH will put some more weight on the front axle. I would not hesitate to haul that trailer
 
You could install some higher rated coil springs in the rear. CJC off road offers some with an extra 600lbs of capacity. Metal cloak also makes a dual rate coil rated at 3.5 inch lift for a regular Ram 2500 which would only be a 1 lift in back over stock with a higher load capacity. Another upgrade you could do to help control the sway some is to put a Thuren rear track bar on. It is much beefier and corrects the track bar alignment. CJC now offers a air bag kit with a removeable section for a air bag kit so you only install the wedge when towing or needing extra capacity.
 
I had a 2015 PW. I added Timbrens to help when I towed. Handled the load great. I regularly towed 10,000+ lbs on my dump trailer.
 
It's still a 2500 so can tow more than that, the low tow rating is due to soft PW suspension, adding airbags will help
 
I tow over 11,000 with my Hemi 3500 dually. Not a PW, but the same engine/trans/gearing as your PW. So the powertrain shouldn't be an issue for you. I also very much wanted a PW, but found a dually near me for a great price and went with that.

You're on the right track, airbags would help a lot. I use the Airlift 7500XL, larger diameter bags - which gives you more leveling capacity at lower air pressure (a bit better ride)

As was mentioned earlier, check the weight rating on your hitch torsion bars, might consider upsizing those if possible. I use a B&W Continuum hitch, easy to adjust when I am loaded up heavier (without messing with friggin bars...)

So for 3 years i towed a cougar 32rli with a 1500 hemi. 8,400 empty 1,170 on the tongue. I had the complete wrong truck but had to make it work. Between the helper bags and a Hensley arrow hitch i put on well over 10k miles without a hiccup
 
We tow a 9,995 GVWR ORV Backcountry Series 20BD TT with a 2016 Ram PW and a 2024 Ram 3500 4x4 Crew Cab LB SRW. I installed an eighteen inch shank on the 4 Point Equal-i-zer WDH to clear the tongue jack with the tailgate which caused the PW to squat. Had to crank up the WDH spring arms to counter it. No air bags. Don't have nearly the tongue weight as a toy hauler. Both of our trucks sit level with the same WDH and settings.

The HO Cummins though handles our home's Rocky Mountain up to 10% highway grade with much less of a tow concern. Especially down for the 21.4 continuous miles dropping 5,800 feet. The 6.4L would get a major high RPM workout, whereas, the 6.7L doesn't feel the trailer.
 
I think you’ll be fine with that setup. Much of it is distributing the weight to the front and having a heavy truck pulling it. You’re doing the right thing. Post up your experience after you’ve towed.
