Thinking about getting one for my Ram 2500 diesel. Have heard good things, but wanted others opinions. I dont race my truck all over town, I do tow quite a bit but nothing extreme. Honestly, I could live with the truck stock, but if there is a way to get rid of that initial sluggishness, I wouldn't mind that at all. Also, it looks pretty simple to install, I have read it does not affect warranty. All I am looking to do is just wake the truck up some, but not go real extreme with it.

I'm a fan primarily because of backup mode and low speed trim adjustment unlike some of the other options on the market. With backup mode it returns to the stock nerfy pedal when in reverse so backing up to a trailer or backing up a trailer isn't touchy if you like a touchy pedal for daily driving and low speed trim allows you take out some of the sensitivity under 10 MPH. Also unlike some of the other options it does have you calibrate it against the stock pedal min/max values when you 1st install it.

I keep mine in City +6 most of the time and that's enough to take out some pedal lag for me. Can it fully eliminate it like a proper tune - no, but it does help a bit.

did you do the stand alone or did you get the idash gauge? Thinking ill just go the stand alone and run it through my phone. Can always add the gauge later if id like

I have some iDash guages, but I originally had my Pedal Monster as standalone. I literally never adjust it so either way it worked well for me.

Ordered it as a stand alone. I really think I’ll find where I like it and just leave it alone, not needing the idash gauges. I don’t like a ton of information flying around anyways when driving. Hoping it’s here by end of the week so I can get it installed and give it hell for a camping trip next week pulling the travel trailer.

I put one on mine and no regrets. Have it set on the medium setting, may have lost a minimal of fuel mileage because I love to stomp on it getting on the highway and NO LAG !

Once you have it you can't live without it. Really changes how the truck drives.

i love my pedal monster , it cleans up the lag even in its low setting "city" mode also gained 2-3 mpg around town if i drive like i own it not stole it . i also added the "monster intake" and the "ram air diff cover"

Today is the first day with it. Been driving for about an hour on hwy and around town. City 4 or 5 is where I like it. I don’t see a reason or need for the higher levels. I’m shocked what it does just at these lower levels. Night and day difference. I can tell the computer is trying to relearn the different driving habits. Think I’ll really enjoy it once it learns that because an odd shift happening here and there but other than that, LOVING it so far. City 4 or 5… set it and forget it.

I just called Banks last week and ordered an iDash, dude on the phone asked if I wanted the Pedal Monster with it and and I was like "naaa, I don't need that." But then I did some reading and now I'm thinking.... maybe I do? I dunno, I don't need this truck to race the Dakar rally, but sometimes I wish it had just a bit more get-up-and-go when merging and such. Feels like I just have to keep giving it throttle to get it moving. This gizmo should help with that, yeah?
