Banks IDash gauge-- some Q's

With the Aisin the better temp to monitor is TQ converter outlet temp, since trans temp is redundant with what’s on the dash.
Yes, the truck's EVIC will display trans temp, but I bought the iDash so that I could monitor several parameters at once without having to dedicate the EVIC to just one screen. One of those parameters to watch, for me, is trans temp while I can have the EVIC on other more important things that need CONSTANT monitoring like tire pressure and fuel filter life. :D TQ converter outlet temp is not available on the iDash.

I noticed several other torque-related parameters available in the iDash-- torque % actual, engine friction % torque, torque % commanded, etc-- so I'm gonna mess with those and see if any of them will provide the info I'm looking for. I honestly think that Banks should develop a simple handbook, online is fine, that explains what the data from each parameter would tell the user and why it might be important to know. Some of it is fairly easy to decipher or just obvious, but much of it, not so much.

Which idash are you all using? I see several different options on there website but not sure which one I need to get …

There are really 2 . One just shows you real time data and the other other has the ability to also store the data . The rest are just different configurations in a pod of gauges of those 2 .

I ordered the pro and will be here about the same time as my Truck... are you able to do the forced regen with it on 2019-2024 Rams?
