Just went to my dealer to get a set of fuel filters. They had the engine filter in stock but didn't have any Mopar fuel/water filters. They sold me a Baldwin instead. Are these any good?

Their name has been around in Over The Road Diesel Trucking for a long time. I wouldn't worry.

The Baldwin and an unused OE Mopar filter look identical sitting next to each other. They have the same US patent number on them, 8 916 044.

A quick Google search indicates that Parker Hannifin owns the patent. Parker is also the parent company of Baldwin Filters. The OE filter has a Parker part number on it as well as the FCA part number. Seems kind of conclusive that the Baldwin and the OE filter are identical.
