I have a 2019 Ram 2500HD Tradesman with the 6.7 Cummins. Since it was new (7,000 miles ago) the backup camera does not give any audible alarms when something gets close to the tailgate The camera and the superimposed colored guidelines work fine, but it refuses to make any noise like my 2011 Ram did. Could it be that the audible alarms are turned off or is it possible that the alarms are a feature that my particular vehicle does not have. Any input yall may have will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch in advance,
Teddo

I turned off my back-up alarm on my tradesman. You may have just flipped it off by accident?

The park sense feature is an option. My tradesman didn't come with it. Unless you have the parking sensors in the bumper or the blind spot/ cross path detection in the rear taillights, you don't have that feature.

Thanks a lot. Now that this issue is put to rest, I can move on to the "hot air coming thru the vents" issue. Even in cool weather, hot air comes thru the vents on both sides. I'm gonna give the dealer a shot at this one and see what they say. We'll see how this works out.

There's an AC TSB posted here and in a big AC thread.
