Backup camera on 2019s

Just wondering how clear the backup camera is at night, like if you’re trying to lineup with the trailer in the dark? The Fords have an LED near the camera lens, the Rams don’t. Salesman have told me the license plates lights help the crystal clear camera. Can anyone confirm?

I will say the LED lights in the back certainly light things up... additionally with the Towing Tech Group, there are LED spotter lights in the mirror that cast additional light.
I may have to revisit this when I put the cap on the back... the LED lights in the CHMSL throw some good light.

Additionally, I don't thing the images on the cargo camera or the backup camera are particularly clear... the images on 1500 were very crisp and clear, these are somewhat fuzzy/out of focus.

I will say on my 2018 if it’s dark outside and there is no light, you cannot see the hitch ball when trying to lineup with a trailer.
