Backup Camera at Night clarity?

How do you owners rate the camera quality in the dark, like if you're backing up to a trailer? With my 2018, you can barely see the hitch ball in the dark with no outside lighting. With my Superduty that I had, it had an LED light near the backup camera lens. This 2019 Ram has to LED light in the tailgate, so im wondering how good it is at night? I know it has lights in the mirrors that shoot straight back, but is that enough? Salesman told the LED license plate lights illuminate the rear quite a bit. Thoughts?

I have had no issue seeing the ball at night.
