Auxiliary tank install plumbing question

I have a 2021 Ram 3500 w/ the 50 gallon main fuel tank. The gravity fed auxiliary tank is installed in the bed and I'm ready to do the plumbing connection to the main tank. In the instructions from RDS state "Check the top of the trucks main tank to see if there is an open vent. Some trucks will have this some will not. If the truck has an open vent place a piece of hose on the vent and run the hose up into the bed of the truck to the height of the auxiliary tank." I know the truck has a vent tube that runs beside the filler neck but am unsure if there is a vent on the top of the main tank. I have researched extensively on others installs however am not finding anything related to a vent on the top of the tank nor has there been any references made to a vent on top of the main tank. There is a vent on top of the auxiliary tank and I know what to do with that one. Any information that can be shared is appreciated before I pull the trigger on finishing up the install.
