Are the Transforce AT tires THAT bad?

They are okay for dry pavement. If you see anything other than that. They are hot garbage.

I've been on and off the road, pulling several trailers. Ran them through the winter here in south western pa (where we get snow, ice, and have a ton of hills). I typically run Coopers on my trucks, and will down the road with this one. I can't really complain about the OEM tires. They've been fine for me and I am not considering replacing them. I'll use them until they wear out.

I would have run them until I wore them out if I had left my suspension stock. I do agree they could have been better in the rain but they were ok otherwise. I just sold my stock wheels/tires. I told the buyer I am not real fond of the tires and I am really just selling the wheels and he was getting the tires for free.

I admit they tow great and on dry pavement I have absolutely no complaints there. Get them off the road however and they suck a$$ big time. I was in high desert sand/gravel and they just spun, had to put it in four wheel to move the trailer around. Same place with my previous 2017 1500 hemi and 275/65R20 KO2's / same trailer was two wheel no problems at all.

Yes. Terrible junk. I spin all over my property while doing tasks at low speeed (lots of dirt). Took them to the snow once and had to put it in 4WD just to traverse a plowed parking lot. Backing out of my driveway it transitions from concrete to dirt up a very light incline. If I leave it in R and don't even touch the accelerator the truck will back to a point and start hopping on it's own as they fight for traction in something a Unicycle wouldn't have trouble with.

I hate them. Not going to wait for them to wear. As soon as I can get some other tasks out of the way they are gone.

Let me add that they look stupid too. White letters out? Really? What is this? The 80's with some BFGs on a Trans-Am? It's not even done well either. It's like a dude took a paint can and just held the trigger while swipeing. Overspray all over the tires. Broadcasting loudly to the world that your $70k truck is riding on the worst pieces of trash since bias-plys.
So tell us how you really feel about the stock tires LOL

I really debated whether to swap them given my initial impression driving them on wet pavement. So far I have stuck with them for 3,500 miles. They seem fine towing and general driving. On wet roads when towing and now with the canopy and some gear in the truck they are not as bad as they were initially. Still not great at highway speeds on wet roads. Initially with a totally empty truck they seemed to loose contact and want to hydroplane a bit. I have not noticed that when towing. That may be because of the added weight and the WDH when towing and speeds closer to 65 than the 70 - 75+ highway speeds when empty. But it has been dry most of the time since I got the truck. We will see this winter if I made a mistake keeping them. They are terrible on wet grass though. In the field behind our barn, if the grass is wet at all, 4X4 low range is needed and even then it is iffy.
