I've got a 2018 Power Wagon that's fairly loaded with the 8.4 media system but unfortunately no CD player.
Think it's possible to add an aftermarket CD player
(under dash mount possibly) and tie in to existing head unit via aux cable or something similar?
If anyone has done this please share your install.
Thank you kindly.

You could put the OEM cd player in… hell my 19 has the CD player but i never use it i just ripped all my CDs to a jump drive, and better yet i was able to delete the songs on the CDs that i would always skip lol

It isn't too complicated to copy your CD's to a computer and rip (transfer) them to a USB stick. Many PC's and laptops that have a CD/DVD drive have the software already installed. You can have hundreds of songs on one stick. And you have the ability to delete tracks you don't care for.

Hard to find a laptop with a CD drive now lol crazy how things change

my PW has the factory unit, it has capability/capacity of one disc…I really hate the system in this truck, pretty useless except for the radio.
