3.73 or 4.10 on a 6.4 hemi CCLB?

dont tow much and drive alot of highways

I have no issue with my 4.10's. I am averaging 13.5 mpg with 70/30 highway/town driving.

I don't tow often either, I had 4.10, and if I order a new one, it will have 3.73 for sure. I also run stock height tires. My 4.10 felt to low geared unloaded, this 8spd does wonders for the 6.4.

Unless you plan to put on bigger tires or see more towing in your future, 3.73 no contest for what you want to do with it.

I have a 2019 with 3.92 gearing which I feel is perfect , ordered a 2021 Ram 2500 and wish they offered the 3.92 for that , but I got the 3.73 coming

4.10 even with stock tires. Minimal difference if any in gas milage at least under 80. Feels peppier test drive them back to back. Might be better mpg under some circumstances because you won’t need to be so much into the gas pedal. Less hunting of gears and probably haveceasier time selling it down the road. These are big trucks and stock tires are small and ultimately get replaced with bigger ones :)

When people say these are small tires and that they get replaced with bigger ones, what size are they referring too? What is a good stock size wheel and tire if you aren't going off roading?

Most go 35" tires. Some go 37".

I'm running 4:10s ,tow very little and at short distance but wouldn't think of going with 3:73. Get 14 plus mpg, and I am not the most gentle driver.
