Android Auto

Hello,
On my 2024 3500 I sometimes use Bluetooth to play music. Mostly I use Sirius Radio. Now all of a sudden every time I shut the truck off and restart it goes to android auto. Then I have to press Sirius to play the radio. Never had thus problem. Does anyone know why thus is now happening? Thanks for any information.

Once you AA pair your phone to the truck, uConnect will try to start AA automatically when it "sees" your phone. Two ways I've found to avoid it are either have location turned off on the phone or be running an ad blocker app. I'm not a big fan of AA, and only use it on long, multi-hour trips. So having it start automatically was very annoying to me.

It is annoying. Maybe last phone update changed something. Just started happening.

I had a similar issue. I posted this thread in the UConnect sub forum. Reset fixed it for me.

Hello all.

Something has changed within the past 2 months or so and it’s driving me nuts.

Before this issue, whatever Source I was using when I turned the truck off, would continue when I started back up.

I listen to SiriusXM 99.99% of the time and since day one, SiriusXM would automatically begin after every restart. Without fail.

Now, whenever I start the truck again after work, shopping, gas….etc, Android Auto opens and I have to select the SiriusXM button every time to start listening. I’ve checked every setting in both my phone and Uconnect and I can’t find anywhere to set the...
