Anyone running an Anderson Hitch in a short bed know the distance from front of hitch to the front of the bed? Really want to order an auxiliary fuel tank but don't want to order one too deep to fit in front of the hitch. If the $@%*%$ thing would just show up I could measure it myself but need a truck first!!! Thanks

From the front of the bed to the hitch is 19". The front inside portion is recessed a little. I did not include that portion in the measurement. The front of the hitch is actually behind where the wheel well begins to rise. I will post a few more pictures to help you out. If your tank is wider than 51 inches, the space between the wheel well and the cab will be your limfac.

see the wheel well begins to rise before the edge of the hitch

Thank you kindly for the information. Have decided to wait and order the tank when my truck shows, which is Monday now. Thought I wouldn't see it until after the first o the year. Thanks again.
