Am I welcome in the Power Wagon club, or do I have to stay with the Rebels

On our local Western Colorado entirely rock roads the softer suspension of our 2016 Ram 2500 Tradesman with the Power Wagon option on 35 inch tires with 17 inch wheels rides across them like it's on a cloud, especially with the front sway bar disconnected. Our 2024 3500 Tradesman 4x4 rides the same rock roads on 33 inch tires with 18 inch wheels like the heavy duty stiff suspension truck it is providing the occupants a gut spilling bronco bucking ride. 1,446 lb payload capacity versus 4,072 lb payload capacity.

Not sure how the Power Wagon Rebel's ride would be across rocks with 20 inch rims, but it still will do it.

In the distance is our Power Wagon climbing a steep grade far above treeline near our home.

I mean why the hell not? Most my buddies at work drive Ford’s.

You just won’t be as happy as me on bumpy roads, but you’ll be better off towing heavy.

Enjoy your truck.
