my question was if anyone has swapped in stock SRT exhaust and if the 6.1 or 6.4 fit better

The word "stock" sounds restrictive. What's your goal? A mom & pop exhaust shop might be a better alternative. Run whatever size of aluminized you want. You provide the muffler and tip(s). That's what I always did with my hot-rods.

I have an 08 srt8 too. The stock manifolds are basically shorty headers. Nice cheap upgrade for 5.7s, and I presume the 6.4 as well, factory log style manifolds
