AlphaODB Windows - Do we need to bypass for PM Sensor Regeneration (Force Regen)

For AlphaODB Windows - Do we need to install the bypass cable/kit in order to use the PM Sensor Regeneration (Force Regen) feature?

Getting the "No Data Received from ECU/Interface", wasn't sure if we needed the bypass for this.

Well had no idea the cable was so easy to install so slapped it in. At least it gets further now. I have a full DPF so hoping to force a regen without taking it to the dealer. So far not so good lol.

Failed. Conditions not correct or Request sequence error.

It could be a DTC Code but of course with a full DPF, I can't seem to clear that code to try to get the Regen to go.
