Anybody able to get the manual regen feature to work with alpha obd.
I turned it on in alpha obd. On the diesel particulate filter screen it shows hold > to start manual regen. Nothing ever happens when I hold in the >.
Am I missing something in alpha obd ? Or just not possible to enable the feature?

Its a CC only feature I believe you can demand a manual regen with alfa but not enable the manual regen on the evic

Thanks for the replies. You would of thought it was just a software thing. But oh well, worth a try

The manual says that the dpf has to be “sufficiently full” to initiate the manual regen. It doesn’t say what percentage is sufficiently full though.

Mine was at 30% or so when I tried it. I’ll keep in an eye on it and report any updates.

Mine was about the same when I tried. No Joy.

Wondering if maybe the BCM has to be set to the correct type, which could probably cause cascaded failures of other systems.

Please excuse my noobness.

So with AlfaOBD no one can make a manual regen happen yet?

I'm interested in being able to force a regen if needed.

My dealership had to force a regen after they replaced my Particulate Matter Sensor.

I am trying this as well it says regeneration in progress please wait...... but nothing happens... anyone have any ideas? I am using windows version and I can connect but it seems the commands are not being accepted.. I bought a cable from Amazon it was a ttxspp bypass cable

Also my DPF is 100% full

Has anyone gotten a forced manual regen through Alfa OBD to work on a 2022?

Mines been doing regens rather often, and it’s always when I’m on shorter, non-highway runs. I’ve got a new air filter and that didn’t help… So I’m running a tank of HSS extreme in it now. I’m expecting more regens with that, but would like to do a manual after to give it a good clean. Losing mileage for regens every other day sucks.
