I have a 2019 ram power wagon. I am stock with 35”s and a canopy with gear. I am looking at air bags and daystar lower cradle’s. My question is do we need the bags with the jounce bumps stops in side the bags? Do they limit articulation compared to stock? Would 5psi in the bags do the same thing. I don’t do a lot of fast dunes mostly slow off roading. The bags are to help with side to side rock when geared up. And level out a little when towing jeep or SxS. I have looked but know where tells me if the bumpers are needed, if they are too long, if just bags and a little air is all you need. As I have found there is sometimes $100-$150 difference between kits. Your help is appreciated. F8FDC7DF-4F55-4C18-8AC0-8716A2A5D467.jpeg

Get the bump stop ones and run em with no air when needed its a much better set of bags in my books plus no worrying about having 5psi in when you are not using them

I've not ran bags on my PW yet (will be ordering some in the next week or so), but I did run them in my Jeep JK. I did a lot of hard rock crawling in it, but I also towed an off road trailer on some trips and needed the bags. Those did not have the bump stops in them and when one would leak and get down to 0psi, the spring would sometime pinch the bag and put a hole in it. So I'd spend the extra money up front and save your self a headache out on a trail some place.

I run the airlift 5000 ultimates and have zero issues. I usually deflate to 0 psi (or as close as possible) when not in use and don’t even think about them in normal driving or off-road. It’s nice to have the option and know that you have some sort of limiting factor in the up travel direction. I think the extra 100 bucks is worth it long term.
