Those on 37s what do you air down to while offroading? I know the terrain is going to matter but let's assume a pretty rocky trail that you are going pretty slow. I'm talking about 4low terrain.

I was out in my Jeep this weekend down to 5psi and realized yeah I have no idea what I'd be at if I had the Power Wagon.. Glad I didn't have the PW since it was still a good 2.5 to 3 feet of snow.

knowing a PW weight I’d suggest airing down a bit in the driveway and watching the sidewalls and coming up with a starting point ahead of trail time so you don’t waste trail time goobering with guess and check at the trail head. Park on a brick or a chunk of wood to get a better visualization of the tire deflating than just the flat concrete.

I’d imagine you’d be in the 15-20 psi range and be happy. Guessing based on a 7200lb rig and a 45psi street pressure (also guesses) also assuming these aren’t bead locks

You can let more air out if desired but if you start too low and lose a bead you can damage a tire or just waste a bunch of time. You have an air source on board?

Sidewall strength will be the determining factor. As said, the best guestimate would be in the 20's (if you can really accurately guesstimate)

20ish is what I was thinking about trying first and you guys are totally right the tire and rim choice will be a big factor. I've been wheeling Jeep Wranglers (Cj,Yj,Tj,JK,LJ) for 20+ years so this full-size thing is going to be interesting :)

I'm going to be running AEV rims with Grabber A/Tx's
I currently run 35 Grabber x3s on my LJ but they are on a 15x8 rim. So much sidewall :)

Mine liked 20 on the stock tire size. Haven't aired down the 35's yet though.

I am running 315/70-17 Falken Wildpeak AT3w's and air down from 45f/40r to 20 to go off road. If I am going in snow, I go even lower. I have the 75A beadlock capable wheels, but am running them as a normal tire on the rim.

15-18 psi is what I would do. Bead locks would be a nice addition

I keep hoping for a true beadlock ring to be available for the factory beadlock capable rims I’m running.
